Functions of the Seward County Election Commissioner

The Seward County Clerk is the Ex Officio Election Commissioner for Seward County.  The Election Commissioner is responsible for conducting all county elections, including any special elections. The Election Commissioner handles candidate filings and maintains all election equipment as well as the voter system. In counties with a larger population, this office is separate from the County Clerk’s Office.

You may register to vote or update your voter information in the County Clerk’s Office.  Updates include change of name, address, or political party.  If you are at least 18 years of age or will be 18 years of age on or before the 1st Tuesday following the 1st Monday in November of this year you are eligible to register to vote.   

Jury Duty Selection List

A Master Jury List is taken from driver’s license and the voter registration lists. Whether or not you are a registered voter, your name may be picked for jury duty through your drivers license. Whether or not you have a drivers license, your name may be picked for jury duty through the election registration.
