Other Community Involvement: Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church: High School Sunday School Teacher, Junior Boys Co Leader for Multiply Youth Ministries, Mentor a number of Concordia and High School Students

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family, mentoring young people, being outdoors, reading, and staying involved in church and our community. I also enjoy a good conversation around a fire pit or on our back deck.

Priorities: 

  • Fiscal Responsibility: Be a careful steward of taxpayer dollars and pursue responsible budgeting.
  • Property Taxes: Look for responsible ways to control spending and keep the tax burden reasonable.
  • Infrastructure: Support responsible planning and maintenance of roads, bridges, and other county infrastructure.
  • Public Safety: Support the Sheriff’s Office, emergency services, and the resources needed to keep our communities safe.
  • Transparency & Accountability: Promote open communication, responsible governance, and accountability to taxpayers.
  • Economic & Community Development: Encourage responsible growth while preserving the character and quality of life of Seward County.
  • Constitutional Principles: Approach county government with respect for individual liberty, limited government, and the responsibilities entrusted to elected officials.
  • Strong Communities: Work collaboratively with municipalities, schools, businesses, churches, organizations, and citizens to strengthen our communities.
